Annual Dialog and Friendship Dinner San Francisco

On 15th of September, 2007, the Silicon Val Branch of Pacifica Institute entertained around 130 guests at the third of its trademark event, Annual Dialogue and Friendship dinner. The venue was familiar for the guests, Argonaut Hotel at the Fisherman’s Wharf of San Francisco. Distinguished guests from a variety of churches, academic institutions, and non-profit organizations filled the hall, and engaged in a lively exchange of views and ideas, while enjoying a delicious dinner of grilled salmon. The guest speakers were Jim Donahue, President of Graduate Theological Union at Berkeley; Rabbi Rouglas Kahn, Executive Director of Jewish Community Relations Council at San Franisco, and Atilla Kahveci of Pacifica Institute. The delightful night concluded with a live show of calligraphy art by the famous guest calligrapher, Aydin Cayir of Turkey. Each of the distinguished guests left with name tags, displaying their names written by My. Cayir in his beautiful script.
