Pacifica Institute’s Silicon Valley Branch hosted three interfaith iftar dinners this year. Each dinner brought more than 120 guests from various different ethnic backgrounds, faiths, and professions. Guests enjoyed variety of samples from the delicious Turkish cuisine, a fusion and refinement of Mediterranean, Central Asian, and Balkan cuisines. In addition to the food, some of the highlights of the evening were the Pacifica’s message of peace and interfaith-dialogue among the diverse communities of California, a short video about Pacifica’s activities, and a video about Turkiye, a nation that comes with a great history, natural beauty, and world-famous Turkish hospitality.
