Pacifica Institute Silicon Valley Branch organized Turkish Cultural Night on March 28th, 2013. The reception hall was decorated with traditional Turkish motifs, cultural dance costumes, silver and copper decoration items, kilims, rugs, and daily use items were all around us. Guests enjoyed taking pictures of themselves wearing special made cultural and historical head wear.

Four dishes from Turkish cuisine were demonstrated and enjoyed by our guests: gozleme, cig kofte, kunefe and Turkish coffee.

Amy McKee from St. Luke Lutheran Church, was at the center before the night started and saw the room and was delighted with all of the decorations and is very much looking forward to visit Turkey this year.

The Turkish community thanks all the guests who have attended.

We like to take this opportunity to thank all of the people who have organized and put together such a wonderful event.
