With the coming of winter hardships faced by the homeless people are getting harder and their effort to overcome the challenges requires our helping hand. For the sole purpose of helping the needy and poor, Pacifica Institute gave dinner to the homeless people that took refuge a homeless shelter. As following the saying of Hz. Muhammad :  “He who sleeps on a full stomach while his neighbor goes hungry is not one of us”, dinner was served on 30 November,  at St. Boniface Church by volunteers of Pacifica Institute as a part of winter shelter program.

The shelter was packed with more than 60 people.  With the service of the foods, and friendly chats that warms people’s stomachs and hearts the night ended. However these are only temporary relief for them and we should seek for more permanent and sustainable solutions for the people who are in need.
