On Saturday February 7th, 2015, Pacifica Institute and Silicon Valley Interreligious Council (SiVIC) held a homeless dinner at Innvision Montgomery Street Inn at San Jose. After a small meeting at Pacifica institute, volunteers from both organizations visited the shelter with foods that they prepared and they enjoyed the dinner together with people at the shelter. While eating their dinner, people at the shelter had chance to have a warm conversation and share their problems with volunteers. This shelter helps people to rebuild their lives by providing housing and supportive services. Having always social responsibility and passion for a better society, Pacifica Institute and Silicon Valley Interreligious Council (SiVIC) aim to play active role to change and improve the community.
