On Friday, November 18, 2016 Pacifica Institute held annual Thanksgiving Dinner. The event had individuals from different cultures and faiths including Reverend Juanita Cordero, Siva Heiman and Yilmaz Akbas representing the Christian, Jewish and Muslim faith and showing how they pray when it comes to being thankful. The dinner also had guest speaker and renowned journalist Mahir Zeynalov gave insights on what is happening in Turkey and his opinion on the recent US elections.There were over 150 people attending the dinner and enjoyed not only having dialogue between each other but also being thankful for the friends and family we may have.
