Karen Korematsu, daughter of the late civil rights activist Fred Korematsu, spoke out on Sunday against bigotry and prejudice at Pacifica Institute.

The event, sponsored by Temple Sinai’s Social Action Committee and Pacifica Institute, brought together Jews, Muslims and Christians at the community breakfast/brunch event to learn from Incarceration of Japanese-Americans in WWII. The program started with breakfast and followed by a distinguished speech by Karen Korematsu,daughter of Fred Korematsu, the civil rights legend who fought Executive Order 9066.

Lively table discussions are held on various subjects to plan joint actions to avoid mistakes of the past.
