ING is hosting a teen empowerment workshop which provides young Muslims the safe space to speak about their personal experiences in schools and address how to respond to situations of teasing, harassment and bullying that some Muslim students encounter. The workshop will cover:

  • American Muslim youth experience in schools
  • Responding to scenarios of teasing, harassment and bullying
  • Student rights & responsibilities

Students will also receive a helpful resource guide on bullying in schools. This event is co-sponsored by the Pacifica Institute Silicon Valley.

Requirements: Muslim teens must be between the ages of 12 and 17 (7th – 12th grade).
