On Oct 8, 2017, there was a presentation in Los Altos at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints. The event started at 7pm where Ms. Maha Elgenaidi from Islamic Network Group (ING) made a presentation on what Islam is. The presentation was followed by a Q & A session from the audience. Finally, the evening ended with a mixer where Pacifica Institute volunteers shared homemade deserts (Ashure / Noah’s Pudding), and families & youth from Pacifica Institute met and exchanged ideas with host families & youth from the Los Altos Chapel.
