Pacifica Institute and BAYCC hosted an interfaith iftar dinner event which gathered different faith communities to share food at the same table and contribute to common good.

After the welcoming remarks, a multi faith prayer service in peace and remembrance of victims of horrific attacks in New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Pittsburgh and Poway was held by the representatives of different faiths.

Faith leaders took the stage to show their solidarity with other faith communities and expressed their willingness to work together for a peaceful world.

A call to prayer, adhan, marking the moment to break the fast was recited and the quests were invited to the iftar dinner tables on which people of all faiths sat together to share food and know each other.

The event was another effort to foster peace and promote harmony amongst people of all faiths.
