During the award ceremony organized by Salt Lake City Interfaith Roundtable, the Pacifica Institute was given the “Community Award.”

Utah State Attorney General Sean Reyes attended the ceremony as a guest speaker. Reyes said that dialogue between different religious groups will lead to public welfare and that Utah has been doing a great job in getting it done. Furthermore, he also stated that these works that are based on dialogues between religious groups have kept the radical groups out of Utah. He genuinely thanked every member of the Salt Lake City Interfaith Roundtable. After the Attorney General Reyes’s speech, the annual award ceremony started. The Pacifica Institute was presented the “Community Award.” The award was presented by Utah Interfaith Roundtable Vice Chairwoman Josie Stone.
