The beginning of change starts with the youth of today. Fostering positive sentiments between the young members of the Jewish and Muslim faiths is the most vital step in promoting peace and compatibility of views across the world. This is why the Pacifica Institute hosted a lunch to promote interfaith dialogue among Muslim and Jewish youth. The event was attended by teenagers representing the two Abrahamic faiths, and was focused solely on the similarities between the religions. The attendees discovered new aspects of their religion that were almost identical to the other, such as the names of their months, the dietary restrictions and the stories behind their religious holidays. Over a table of delicious delicacies and sweets, the teenagers spoke up about issues regarding their faiths and their take on the world. It was an inspiring event, and the first of many to come.
