Pacifica Volunteers Served Food at Low Income Housing Apartments

Pacifica Volunteers Served Food at Low Income Housing Apartments

As Pacifica Institute volunteers, we had one more step in our goodness path and tried to do our best

to serve the community. On December 17th , we served lunch at the annual holiday party of Tyree

Scott apartments owned by the Low Income Housing Institute (LIHI) who develops, owns and

operates housing for the benefit of low-income, homeless and formerly homeless people in

Washington State. There were nearly 15 adults and 25 kids at the party, who were the residents of

Tyree Scott, and we served them a detailed Turkish lunch which was prepared by the volunteers of

the Pacifica Institute. We delivered the lunch, enjoyed with them and tried to share their happiness in

a limited time. We are aware that sharing our `bread` is tastier than eating it alone.
