{"id":254,"date":"2010-11-10T06:05:00","date_gmt":"2010-11-10T14:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pacificasvnews.wordpress.com\/2010\/11\/10\/lahmajun"},"modified":"2016-09-12T20:20:38","modified_gmt":"2016-09-13T03:20:38","slug":"lahmajun","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pacificainstitute.org\/bay-area\/2010\/11\/10\/lahmajun\/","title":{"rendered":"Lahmajun"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 pack of flour tortilla (cooked or uncooked)<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 pound ground lamb (or beef)<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup chopped parsley<\/li>\n<li>1 large onion (finely chopped)<\/li>\n<li>2 tomatoes (finely chopped)<\/li>\n<li>1 small red pepper (finely chopped)<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp pepper paste<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp pepper paste<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp butter (at room temp)<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp flaked peppers<\/li>\n<li>1-2 garlic cloves (crushed)<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp salt<\/li>\n<li>1\/3 cup water<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preparation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol type=\"1\">\n<li>Set aside tortillas, ground beef, parsley and water and mix and knead rest of the ingredients. Add ground beef and parsley and continue kneading. Add water.<\/li>\n<li>Place aluminum foil on the oven rack or use a tray. Heat oven to 450 degrees.<\/li>\n<li>Spread the mixture on the tortilla as a thin layer with the aid of some water and place it on the foil.
