{"id":2827,"date":"2010-03-08T21:18:00","date_gmt":"2010-03-09T05:18:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pacificasvnews.wordpress.com\/2010\/03\/08\/vizier-kabob"},"modified":"2016-09-12T20:20:38","modified_gmt":"2016-09-13T03:20:38","slug":"vizier-kabob","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pacificainstitute.org\/bay-area\/2010\/03\/08\/vizier-kabob\/","title":{"rendered":"Vizier Kabob"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/pacificasv.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/018.jpg\"><span style=\"font-family:arial\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/pacificasv.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/018.jpg?w=300\" \/><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family:arial\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong>(20-25 servings):<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 4 big onions \u2013 finely chopped<br \/>\u00b7 1 green bell pepper &#8211; diced<br \/>\u00b7 2 red bell peppers &#8211; diced<br \/>\u00b7 8 garlic cloves \u2013 finely chopped<br \/>\u00b7 5 tomatoes &#8211; diced<br \/>\u00b7 few tomatoes &#8211; sliced to put on top to decorate<br \/>\u00b7 2 lb eggplants \u2013 peeled and cut into an inch square cubes<br \/>\u00b7 2 lb Italian zucchini \u2013 peeled and cut into an inch square cubes<br \/>\u00b7 5 lb ground beef<br \/>\u00b7 \u00bd lb bread crumbs<br \/>\u00b7 4 eggs<br \/>\u00b7 1 cup milk<br \/>\u00b7 salt and black pepper<br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family:arial\"><strong>Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/span><span style=\"font-family:arial\"><strong>Meatballs:<br \/><\/strong>1. Mix bread crumbs, 3 eggs, 2 tsp black pepper and salt to ground beef.<br \/>2. Knead it well.<br \/>3. Make small tiny meat balls in the size of a hazelnut.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><span style=\"font-family:arial\"><strong>Vegetables:<br \/><\/strong>1. Preheat oven to 400 F degrees.<br \/>2. Fry zucchini and eggplants in a deep frying pan. Set them aside in the bottom of a baking dish. The dish should be big enough to contain all of the ingredients.<br \/>3. Put some olive oil in a separate cooking pot. Add garlic and onions. Fry a bit.<br \/>4. Add bell peppers. Cook for a while.<br \/>5. Repeat step 3 for meatballs and tomatoes.<br \/>6. Add salt and pepper as needed.<br \/>7. Put meat ball and vegetable mixture on top of zucchini and eggplants.<br \/>8. Beat 1 egg and mix it with milk. Pour this mixture onto the dish.<br \/>9. Decorate the baking dish with sliced tomato on the top and with some Italian parsley.<br \/>10.
