Dear Pacifica Institute Friends,<\/span><\/p>\n

Ramadan is just around the corner, and we would like to share some upcoming opportunities to connect with people around the Bay Area.<\/span><\/p>\n

For the last 20 years, Pacifica Institute Nor Cal organized and facilitated wonderful interfaith fast-breaking dinners, called iftar dinners in faith houses, community centers and homes. This year, in 2022, the month of Ramadan is, even more, special because it happens to overlap with a number of sacred days and traditions including the celebrations of Passover, Easter, Vaisakhi, Mahavir Jayanti, Theravada New Year, and the Gathering of Nations.<\/span><\/p>\n

We see this a great opportunity to re-connect. This year we will be organizing \u201cin person\u201d gatherings with diverse community members with the theme of “Ramadan: The month of Revelation, Gratitude and Community”, interfaith prayers for humanity, call to prayer, adhan, and more to feel and share the Ramadan joy with friends.<\/span><\/p>\n
