Some 50 homeless including women and children benefited from the food donated and served by the young volunteers of the institute.<\/p>\n<p>The shelter provides a temporary place over night for the homeless in the neighborhood. It also seeks hot meal for men and women at locations including local churches. In addition to the food donation, the volunteers presented handmade warm hats and gloves to the homeless.<\/p>\n<p>Eastside Women\u2019s Winter Shelter works on a first come first served basis every night and rely significantly on donations by local individuals and institutions.
