On Sunday October 14th, 2012, Pacifica Institute participated at the Day on the Bay: A Multicultural Festival at the Alviso Marina County Park presented by Supervisor Dave Cortese and Santa Clara county parks and recreational department. Pacifica Institute had two full booths decorated with hand made Turkish motives, rugs, decorations and many informational documents about Turkiye. The volunteers had a great time meeting with the public and providing information. The booths were busy from start to end. Booth Turkiye was very popular among the community. Pacifica Institute would like to thank all the volunteers for organizing and participating at the Day on the Bay. We are looking forward to participating at next years event.
