Pacifica Institute Condemns the Violent Attack in Aurora, Colorado

We at Pacifica Institute would like to extend our deepest felt condolences to the victims of the recent tragedy in Colorado. We pray for the victims and their loved ones.

While details of the attack in Colorado are still emerging we know that this was an act of senseless violence. Our hearts go out to the people whose lives were brutally interrupted or cut short by this act of brutality. As President Barack Obama noted, “This is a day for prayer and reflection.” At the moment we know that 12 people have died and 59 were wounded some of whom are reported to be in critical condition.
