Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman and Nevada State Senator John Ensign sent their proclamation to the Pacifica Institute’s First Annual Dialog and Friendship Dinner in Vegas. A little more than hundred guests were there to witness the event and the keynote speech was made by California Baptist University Dean of Ethics Daniel Skubik and he gave the example of Religious Garden in Antalya where a church, synagogue and mosque stands side by side and their worshipping is performed on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and also a collective prayer session is held with the leaders of prayers of each religions. Las Vegas City Manager Douglas Selby, Fire Chief Grag Gammon and Pastor of Saint Joseph Bob Stoecking made the closing remarks before the Art of Turkish Calligraphy was performed. Each guest’s name and last name was scribed in the art of calligraphy by the artist.
