Pacifica Institue Women’s League Joins Soka University International Festival
It was a little hot and windy day, on Saturday, May 3, 2008 Soka University when the university celebrated the 7th annual International Festival. The visitors enjoyed over 600 musicians and dancers performing on three stages! There were exhibitors, games and activities, an art exhibition, ceramic sales and demos, a children’s play area with Superslide and Bounce House, street painting, student project presentations, a Dragon dance!
Pacifica Institute Women’s League also joined the festival with the food stand and the art of Turkish Calligraphy. Women’s League prepared different kinds of traditional Turkish Dishes and people waited in long queues to buy the homemade healthy vegetarian food. The visitors of the stands also had their names calligraphed.
