On April 23, 2016 Pacifica volunteers participated two events which were sponsored by Great Huntington Beach Interfaith Council (GHBIC) events as a part of Community Service Day.
During Hearts and Hands projects at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints , volunteers made mazes, puzzles and some other different fabric tools that can strength memory of patients with Alzheimer’s, we packed lunch kits for homeless people; sow handmade toys for kids; prepared handmade thank you cards for military personnel.
A group of Pacifica volunteers participated Fountain Valley Mile Square Park beautification project. The volunteers served for planting, weeding, mulching and trash pick-up.
