The event at Antioch Church of Long Beach took place between 3 and 5pm and proved to be a beautiful and inspirational experience. The keynote address was delivered by Pastor Wayne Chaney on the theme “Piercing the Darkness with Light.” Pastor Wayne Chaney expressed, “Justice is what love looks like in public. Look at the other and always consider the frailty that you share. May we have sight of our own darkness so that we have humility.” The event also featured uplifting Gospel music and an interfaith litany.
