Online Dialog Certificate Graduation Dinner

Event Summary

The graduation ceremony for the inaugural cohort of the Dialogue Certification Program was a night of celebration, reflection, and connection. The evening began with a warm welcome from Hilal, who highlighted the significance of the graduates’ journey—not just as a culmination of learning, but as the start of their roles as changemakers in interfaith dialogue and social transformation.

Following check-in and seating, guests enjoyed a shared meal, symbolizing unity and the bonds formed throughout the program. After dinner, Dr. Sophia Pandya, Dr Alp Aslandogan and Father Alexei  took the stage, offering words of encouragement and insight on the importance of faith, dialogue, and social engagement.

The most anticipated moment of the night came with the awarding of certifications, recognizing the 16 graduates’ dedication to fostering understanding across faiths. Applause filled the room as each participant received their certificate, marking their commitment to continuing this vital work.

The evening also featured inspiring remarks from distinguished panelists, including Reverend George Okusi, Dr. Jerald Whitehouse, and Jack Miles, each offering their perspective on the power of dialogue and collaboration.

To close the evening, Alan Vo Ford delivered the finishing remarks, reinforcing the graduates’ responsibility to carry forward the spirit of interfaith dialogue. He encouraged them to take what they had learned beyond the program, using their knowledge and connections to create lasting social change.

As the event concluded, Hilal reminded everyone that this was only the beginning.
