University of Hawaii Manoa Campus Iftar
The Iftar Program organized by Pacifica Institute Hawaii in Honolulu took place on March 15, 2025. The event started at 18:00 and guests took their seats. After the opening, Dr. Sablak gave the keynote. He talked about Hocaefendi and his memories with Hocaefendi in his speech. Then, a Ramadan video was shown. At 18:40, fasts were broken with the call to prayer by Ibrahim Barlas and guests who wanted to watched the evening prayer.
The menu included various flavors such as rice, fish, chicken, salad, vegetables. Cake and fruit were served for dessert.
Traditional porcelain-style plates and glasses were presented to the guests as they left.
