Pacifica Institute is proud to present OC Around The Table 2026, one of our signature community programs and a celebration of what lies at the heart of our mission: bringing people together.
At Pacifica Institute, we believe meaningful relationships begin when people have the opportunity to meet, listen, share, and discover what they have in common. OC Around The Table brings that vision to life by inviting thousands of people from across Orange County to sit together around a shared table.
Families, neighbors, elected officials, faith communities, businesses, nonprofit organizations, civic leaders, and people from many different cultures and backgrounds will come together for a large community potluck at Mile Square Regional Park.
The concept is simple: we set the table, and you bring something to share.
Participants are encouraged to bring a favorite dish, gather around the table, meet new people, share stories, and build friendships with neighbors they may never have had the opportunity to meet before.
More Than a Meal
OC Around The Table is about much more than food. It is about creating a stronger, more connected, and more peaceful community.
In a time when people can easily become separated by differences, we believe that gathering around the same table can remind us of our shared humanity. A simple conversation over a meal can become the beginning of a friendship, a partnership, or a stronger sense of belonging.
The event will also feature live performances, community activities, family-friendly entertainment, children’s activities, and opportunities to connect with organizations and communities from throughout Orange County.
Pacifica Institute is honored to organize this initiative together with civic, community, business, nonprofit, and faith-based partners who share the belief that a stronger Orange County begins with stronger relationships among its people.
Everyone Has a Place at the Table
OC Around The Table is completely free and open to the community. Whether you come with your family, friends, congregation, organization, business, or simply by yourself, you are welcome.
Tables, chairs, and utensils will be provided. Participants simply bring food to share at their table and come ready to meet new friends.
Free parking and shuttle service will also be available, along with activities for children, including family entertainment, bounce houses, face painting, and more.
