Thanksgiving dinner in Los Angeles was to commemorate the tradition and to welcome the families that settled in the US, just like how once the pilgrims did from Europe. The dinner began with a speech and prayer by Pastor Mark on the meaning of Thanksgiving, and followed by Atilla Kahveci. Each family at the tables spoke up about their experiences, hopes, struggles, and gratitudes for being here. After the delicious meal provided both by the Community Church and Pacifica Institute, everyone held hands together and prayed to the God. The event marked an important aspect of the tradition of hospitality.
