Long Beach Alliance Church Iftar

The Welcome to the Table Iftar Dinner, hosted by the Pacifica Institute at Long Beach Alliance Church on March 13, 2025, brought together attendees for an evening of reflection, interfaith dialogue, and community bonding.

The event began with greetings, followed by welcoming remarks and a video presentation. A prayer for dinner was offered before the sunset and call to prayer (Adhan). Participants then broke their fast and engaged in table discussions exploring themes such as the significance of religious holidays, the role of faith in overcoming challenges, and the importance of interfaith relationships.

Attendees enjoyed worship music, which added to the evening’s spiritual atmosphere. The event concluded with a closing prayer, leaving participants with a sense of unity and appreciation for diverse faith traditions.

A special highlight was the Adhan (Call to Prayer) translation into English, which was shared with attendees, further fostering understanding of Islamic traditions.
