Due to the recent fires in Sylmar many people were either left homeless or they were evacuated from their homes and placed in temporary shelters. Pacifica Institute, not wanting to just sit on the sidelines and watch decided to help in any way they can to the victims of the fires by sending out volunteers. Through the direction and collaboration with the Red Cross, Pacifica Institutes Volunteers assisted the displaced residence of the city of Sylmar during this tragic event.
