Pacifica Institute, San Diego donates to Nine Girls Ask
1 in 5 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer and approximately 350 women succumb to this disease every week of every year. It is the most incurable forms of all women’s cancers.
“Nine Girls Ask? For a cure for ovarian cancer” is a 501©3 non-profit organization to raise awareness among women and doctors alike regarding the signs, symptoms and the risks of ovarian cancer. The organization also arranges fund raisings that will be delegated directly to research regarding first diagnosis and recurrence.
Pacifica Institute made a donation to “Nine Girls Ask?” to help them with their effort to fight the disease. Outreach Coordinator Nurcan Keskin presented to check to Lynn Neu who is herself an ovarian cancer survivor. Our hearts and prayers go to the all the women and families affected by it.
