Pacifica Institute Partners With LA Food Bank (April 7th, 2012)

On April 7th Pacifica institute volunteers participated in a program organized by the LA Food Bank. Our volunteers packaged the donated food for distribution to the LA Area homeless shelters, and senior centers.Also they have meet and worked together with different community members at the La Food Bank. The volunteers were very excited about the work that they had accomplished for the LA Food Bank and they saw any more situations where they could partner with LA Food Bank.

One of the volunteer of the Institute Levent Demiroglu said, “This kind of volunteer activities are very good opportunities to improve solidarity in the community. As a part of community this is our responsibility.” He added, “We are as Pacifica Institute volunteers will continue to contribute these kinds of social projects in the future.”
