Sunnyvale Mayor, Anthony Spitaleri, Spoke at PI Bay Area
Pacifica Institute’s Silicon Valley Branch held first of its luncheon series on May 8th, 2008 in Sunnyvale. Our distinguished guest was the mayor of the city of Sunnyvale Anthony (Tony) Spitaleri. Mayor Spitaleri talked about community involvement and how each individual can make a difference by getting involved in various organizations in their communities. He encouraged the audience to get involved in schools, support groups and other organizations. A delicious Turkish style meal was served for lunch after the Q&A session.
