🌙 Ramadan Mubarak from Pacifica Institute

As the blessed month of Ramadan begins, Pacifica Institute extends its warmest wishes to all who are observing this sacred time.

Ramadan is a month of fasting, prayer, reflection, and generosity. From dawn to sunset, Muslims refrain from food and drink, focusing on spiritual growth, gratitude, and service to others. It is a season that nurtures compassion, strengthens families, and brings communities together around shared values of kindness and care.

This year is also especially meaningful as our nation commemorates the 250th anniversary of the United States. This milestone invites us to reflect on the enduring principles of liberty, faith, diversity, and unity that continue to shape our country. The spirit of Ramadan — rooted in empathy, generosity, and community — beautifully complements these ideals.

In that spirit of unity, Pacifica Institute is planning to host 25+ Iftar programs throughout the holy month across Southern California, the Bay Area, Sacramento, and Hawaii. These gatherings will take place at churches, synagogues, temples, and other houses of worship, as well as at universities and at the California State Capitol in Sacramento. Through these shared meals, we aim to bring together people of all faiths and backgrounds to build friendships, foster dialogue, and strengthen our communities.

At Pacifica Institute, we remain committed to creating spaces where meaningful conversations flourish and lasting bonds are formed.

May this Ramadan bring peace to our hearts, strength to our communities, and hope to our shared future.

Ramadan Mubarak!
