Volunteers from BAYCC and Pacifica Institute served dinner to residents of the Berryessa RV Safe Parking site, operated by WeHOPE, on February 25, 2026.
The gathering was organized in the spirit of Ramadan, a month centered on compassion, generosity, and solidarity with those in need. Through sharing a warm meal, volunteers sought to embody the values of caring for one another and strengthening human connection within our broader community.
The evening was not only about providing food, but also about presence, conversation, and building meaningful relationships. Ramadan reminds us that service goes beyond charity; it is about standing together, listening, and supporting one another with empathy and respect.
We are grateful to WeHOPE for their partnership and for the opportunity to serve alongside dedicated volunteers committed to uplifting our neighbors.
